Green Fund and the Region of Attica co-organize the 3-day capacity building workshop on climate adaptation priorities in Attica. The workshop will be held at the Amfitheatre of Region of Attica (Mesogeion 156, Cholargos) on Wendsday 1^st of July 2026 and Friday 3^rd of July 2026 and at Serafio of Municipality of Athens (Echelidon 19 and Pireos 144, Athens) on Thurdsay 2^nd of July 2026.

The workshop provides the necessary knowledge and tools to regional and local authorities and other interested parties on issues of climate change adaptation, with an emphasis on the highly vulnerable sectors of the Region of Attica. These skills will contribute to the implementation of protection measures against the impacts of climate change, the exploitation of opportunities, and the implementation of the Regional Adaptation Action Plan and the protection of the Region against the impacts of climate change.

The workshop is addressed to three categories: (a) decision-making bodies, (b) staff of technical and other services and/or bodies of first- and second-degree local government, and (c) stakeholders (such as professional groups working on sectors seriously affected by climate change impacts).
