The project involves interventions that promote sustainable urban mobility in the city of Igoumenitsa.
These include the redevelopment of public spaces and the creation of bicycle lanes, pedestrian walkways, green islands, bicycle parking spots, and recreational areas. The implementation improves the urban environment’s functionality for all users and supports rational public space management. The interventions mainly include granite, elastomer, concrete slabs, stone, and marble pavings, greenery planting, and installations of urban equipment, irrigation systems, and shelters.
