- Examples of best practices at national and regional levels (implementation methods, funding methods).
- Presentation of adaptation actions at national, European, or international levels that include Greece.
Access to Policies and Legislation on Climate Change Adaptation (international, European and national).
Central government departments and public organisations are able to directly access the open geospatial database for climate change here. The database contains climate projections’ datasets and geospatial maps for Greece with a horizontal resolution of about 12km. The geospatial mapping of changes in main climate parameters (temperature, precipitation, relative humidity, sunshine, solar radiation and wind speed) between the future and the present climate (2021-2100), as well of the changes in a number of indices such as the extreme temperatures and precipitation and in combined indices related to health (Humidex and PET) and the risk of forest fire (FWI) etc. will greatly contribute to integrating climate risks into national sectoral policies, strategies and plans.
In the “Library” section, the reports prepared by LIFE-IP AdaptInGR on the progress of the implementation of the Regional Adaptation Action Plans (RAAP’s) and the National Adaptation Strategy (NAS), as well as guidance documents for the evaluation and revision of NAS, will be posted.
